Sunway National Art Challenge is open to all students aged 5 – 18 years old, who are currently enrolled in in kindergarten, primary or secondary school,
learning centre or equivalent.
Artwork will be judged separately in 4 categories based on age groups.
Prizes will be awarded to winners of each category:
Participants will receive a confirmation notice upon successful registration
Art & Design Workshop
Participants are invited to join our Art & Design Online Workshop and learn some useful tips and techniques for drawing & colouring
Workshop Date: 4 June 2022
Login to the account which participant has previously registered.
Upload and submit the completed artwork in accordance with the requirements
All artworks must be submitted online. No physical artwork is required at this stage.
Submission Deadline: 20 July 2022
ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS Use of Material
1. The artwork must be 2D, such as a painting or drawing
2. Acceptable media includes paint, pencil, marker, crayon, ink, felt, oil pastel, or a mix of drawing media
3. Digitally created artwork, including photographs, are not accepted
Artwork Size
1. A3 (Approx. 29.7cm x 42.0cm)
Submission Entry : 1. Submit only one (1) art piece per person
2. Design to be submitted in JPEG format
3. Each file must not exceed 2MB
4. File Name : <IC/Passport No>_<Name>

Shortlisted participants will be informed via email and online platform in Between 22 - 24 August 2022
Once an artwork is shortlisted, participants are required
to send their original artwork and reach the following address no later than
9 September 2022 for final judging

The shortlisted artworks will be published for public voting
Public voting period: August 2022
Participants with the most online votes will receive the ‘Most Popular Artwork Award
Winners will be announced via email and online platform on Mid September 2022
Winners are required to attend an award ceremony to receive the prizes, unless otherwise state or permitted
All winners and selected shortlisted contestants will have their artworks displayed in an Art Exhibition for public showcase
