Our design was inspired mostly by professionalism, style, and comfort. Our formal shirt will be gender-neutral as having two formal shirts for males and females is superfluous and stereotypical. Rather than pleated skirts, which require constant ironing, we opted for an A-line skirt, which is comfortable and attractive. The skirt will have safety pants inside and 2 slips attached to the sides for added comfort and mobility. After that, modelled from football jerseys, we have a baby yellow sports shirt with 3 navy blue striped lines on each shoulder, because light colours don't absorb heat as much and are therefore more pleasant for intensive workouts. Our formal and polo shirt details, as well as the main colour of our pants and skirt, are all navy blue as it is both a professional and elegant choice, while still being comfortable in many ways. Rather than going with standard yellow, which we felt stifled our designs and took away from the aesthetic, we went with baby yellow instead. The baby yellow will set this suit apart from the crowd. Our design goes really well with the theme as it is thought out thoroughly for long-term use in terms of style and comfort. More pupils should be able to wear attire that doesn't impose gender stereotypes. We are certain that our design will enhance success and self-expression in the school community and students. Our design colours also stemmed from the school logo, so we could stay true to the school's theme!
